She is the seventh member of the crew and the sixth to join doing so at the end of the Arabasta Arc. However she saved Luffy a couple of times throughout the arc showing that she wasnt all bad.

Nico robin saves luffy. She and her group were the main antagonists of the Alabasta arc and actively opposed the Straw Hats. The two were both well-respected archaeologists before their lives tragically ended early at the hands of the World Government. It was chivalrous but were talking about the Straw Hat Crew here.
